Welcome to Puerta Del Sol Ranch

Puerta Del Sol Ranch strives to produce a horse with the talent for an Olympian, but also that an adult amateur can succeed  with. Our philosophy of breeding is that we don’t want to just produce pretty horses that win in young horse competitions, we want to produce horses that can take their riders to Grand Prix. Therefore, we only  breed the best mares to Stallions that have successfully competed in FEI at the international level, and have a pedigree and progeny that also boasts FEI success. Puerta del Sol Ranch produces horses of medium size that can stay sound and have wonderful temperament and rideability scores. 

We socialize and imprint them when young. They then spend their formative years ‘being horses’ in pastures turned out with a herd.  They are then gently started using Natural  Horsemanship and readied to become the ultimate Dressage Partner.
